Baseball Recap: Troy-Buchanan Takes a Loss

Troy-Buchanan lost against North Point back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans fell just short of the Grizzlies by a score of 4-3.

James Kline was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed over his last three matches.

At the plate, Troy-Buchanan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadin Justus, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Troy-Buchanan has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-24 record this season. As for North Point, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-9-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Troy-Buchanan nor North Point have any future games scheduled.
