Chaparral wins going away against Rampart

Recap: Chaparral Wolverines vs. Rampart Rams

The Chaparral Wolverines entered their tilt with the Rampart Rams with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went Chaparral's way against Rampart on Saturday as Chaparral made off with a 57-35 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Chaparral also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Chaparral's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reagan Lentell led the charge by scoring 11 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Salem Sherman, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.

Rampart struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Chaparral racked up 17.

Chaparral's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rampart, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.

Chaparral will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cherokee Trail at 7:00 p.m. Cherokee Trail has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 178 points over their last three matches. Rampart will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Palmer Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully Palmer Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
