Softball Recap: Briarwood Christian Takes a Loss

Briarwood Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Sylacauga Aggies, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Aggies this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-1 defeat on Tuesday.

Briarwood Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Scout Staggs, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Briarwood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Sylacauga, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-14.

Looking ahead, Briarwood Christian is taking a road trip to take on Homewood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sylacauga, they will challenge Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
