Basketball Recap: Bradford Comes Up Short

Bradford lost against Arcanum back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bradford Railroaders lost 54-30 to the Arcanum Trojans. The match marked the Railroaders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Landon Flatter had a dynamite game for Arcanum, going 10 of 14 on his way to 23 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Mccans, who posted ten points and three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Bradford and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Arcanum, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Bradford will welcome Franklin Monroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin Monroe will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Bradford surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arcanum, they will venture away from home to challenge Mississinawa Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Mississinawa Valley has won three straight at home, while Arcanum won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
