Volleyball Recap: Gretna Extends Winning Streak to Four

Gretna extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Lily Zimmerman. The Dragons blew past the York Dukes 3-0 on Saturday thanks in part to Zimmerman, who had 18 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-8, 25-17.

Despite the defeat, York had strong showings from Claire Koch, who had 15 digs, and Danika Pohl, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Gretna's win bumped their record up to 27-6. As for York, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-18 record this season.

Gretna will square off against Waverly at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday. York does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
