Volleyball Recap: Bowie Takes a Loss

Bowie lost against Churchill on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 2-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bowie actually scored more points across those three sets (70-65), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 15-25, 25-22.

Bowie's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Churchill, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.

Bowie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Hendrickson on the 19th. As for Churchill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Incarnate Word on the 19th.
