Soccer Recap: Edgewood vs. Jefferson Area
Edgewood won the last time they faced Jefferson Area, and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Edgewood Warriors won by a goal and slipped past the Jefferson Area Falcons 2-1. Noah Hommes had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Warriors.
Edgewood's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Jefferson Area, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgewood will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Chardon at 3:00 p.m. As for Jefferson Area, they will face off against Grand Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grand Valley will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Jefferson Area surely won't give up without a fight.
