Soccer Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Takes a Loss

Prince Avenue Christian lost against Franklin County back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Prince Avenue Christian took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Franklin County. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Prince Avenue Christian came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Franklin County are ranked 344th).

Prince Avenue Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Franklin County, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Prince Avenue Christian will host Stephens County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Franklin County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Franklin County challenge Greene County at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. They are facing Greene County at the right time seeing as Greene County is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
