Baseball Recap: Providence Christian Comes Up Short

Providence Christian managed to slip by Rehobeth the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Providence Christian Eagles lost 10-2 to the Rehobeth Rebels on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered against the Rebels since February 20, 2017.

Tyler Sharp was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Providence Christian is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8. As for Rehobeth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Providence Christian and Rehobeth will both be playing Dothan the next time they take the field. Rehobeth will head out to face Dothan at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Providence Christian will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
