AJ Lindsey Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is Landrum's AJ Lindsey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Lindsey made ten total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Blacksburg, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Lindsey. Lindsey forced two fumbles and made 11 total tackles (3.0 for loss) the last time he and the Wildcats duked it out back in October of 2023.

Javen Cook was a major factor in Clinton's victory over Chesnee on Friday. Chesnee had no answer to Cook as he rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.

Tushawan Richardson Makes It Two for Clinton

Titus Poore was instrumental in extending Landrum's winning streak to five on Friday. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 52 yards.
This season, Poore has averaged 62.2 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to six.
