Gunner Nolan made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run but no hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in May of 2025. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. That triple was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Ian Phrakonkham was incredible, going 2-for-7 with six stolen bases and two runs. Those six stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Colton Larson, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with four stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.
Bagley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Win-E-Mac had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Bearcats as they made off with a 12-2 victory. Considering the Patriots have won five matchups by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Hayden Johnson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Johnson was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Owen Strom, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Nick Schow was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Bagley's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Win-E-Mac, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
