Farmersville had won seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped their record up to 10-2 to make it eight. They blew past the Orosi Cardinals 24-8. The Aztecs haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

As for Orosi, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row.

For Orosi's part, Miah Lopez was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Nicole Melchor, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
