Volleyball Recap: Indian Creek Redskins vs. Harrison Central Huskies
If Indian Creek was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Edison on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redskins fell just short of the Harrison Central Huskies by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Redskins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
Indian Creek took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-16, 21-25, 27-25, 15-12.
Cara Vandeborne paced Indian Creek's offense, picking up 14 kills. Vandeborne got some help from Gabby Taylor and her 20 assists. Meghan Paoloemilio controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
