Softball Recap: Legacy Charter Victorious

Legacy Charter's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Freedom Patriots 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since February 20, 2024.

Stefanie Donahey was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

Legacy Charter now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Freedom, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Legacy Charter will host Real Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy Charter will need to watch out since Real Life Christian Academy has now posted at least ten runs in their last eight matches. As for Freedom, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gateway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
