Soccer Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

Milton lost against Monona Grove back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Hawks lost 4-0 to the Silver Eagles. While losing is never fun, Milton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 113th, while Monona Grove are ranked 29th).

This is the second loss in a row for Milton and nudges their season record down to 3-7-2. As for Monona Grove, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milton will head out to face off against Belleville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Monona Grove, they will venture away from home to square off against Beaver Dam at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
