Volleyball Recap: Brandon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Owosso on Monday, Brandon came back down to earth. The Blackhawks lost 3-0 to the Goodrich Martians on Wednesday. The Blackhawks haven't had much luck with the Martians recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-14.

Preslea Hanson paced Brandon's offense, picking up five kills. Hanson got some help from Eleanor Peterson and her nine assists.

Brandon's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Goodrich, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Brandon is set to face off against their familiar foe Clio at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Goodrich will challenge rival Lake Fenton at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
