Football Game Preview: Shiloh Christian Saints vs. Sylvan Hills Bears + Official Tickets

The Shiloh Christian Saints are taking a road trip to take on the Sylvan Hills Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shiloh Christian will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Shiloh Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 24-21 win over El Dorado.

Cole Creighton was his usual excellent self, throwing for 316 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes, and also punching in one rushing score. His passing game has become a key predictor of Shiloh Christian's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 1-2 otherwise. A healthy portion of Creighton's aerial production (152 yards to be exact) went to Zane Sluyter.

Meanwhile, Sylvan Hills hadn't done well against Marion recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bears had just enough and edged out the Patriots 34-32. The game was the first time the Bears have beaten the Patriots on their field since November 16, 2018.

Shiloh Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Sylvan Hills, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
