Soccer Game Preview: Montclair vs. Diamond Ranch

The Montclair Cavaliers are taking a road trip to square off against the Diamond Ranch Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Montclair is headed into the match having not lost since January 17 and will look to keep things rolling. They and Ontario finished up their contest with a 3-3 draw on Friday.

Meanwhile, Diamond Ranch had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 5-3. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly two goals.

Their offense was hitting Chaffey from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.

Montclair's draw makes their record 10-7-3 this season. As for Diamond Ranch, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7-4.

Everything went Montclair's way against Diamond Ranch when the teams last played last Wednesday, as Montclair made off with a 5-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Montclair since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
