Football Recap: Tinley Park Takes a Loss

Tinley Park extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They were dealt a 42-7 defeat at the hands of the Bremen Braves. The Titans were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Justin Bulter threw for 26 yards on two of nine attempts. Jack Stahowicz was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards.

Bremen's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bremen had a senior duo take command as Jalen Clardy rushed for 109 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries and Isaac Torreblanca rushed for 132 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Those 132 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Torreblanca.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tinley Park is set to take on their familiar foe Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bremen will face off against rival Thornton Fractional South at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
