Volleyball Recap: Vinton-Shellsburg Comes Up Short

Vinton-Shellsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Marshall Mustangs. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Vinton-Shellsburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for East Marshall, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Vinton-Shellsburg didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against H-L-V on the 13th. As for East Marshall, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against West Marshall on the 13th.
