Kendrick came tearing into Saturday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 73-46 win over the Brookstone Cougars. The Cherokees have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Kendrick's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Revel Edwards, who went 5-for-8 on his way to 10 points. What's more, Edwards also posted a 63% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caleb Giles, who made all 6 shots he took racking up 13 points.

Kendrick smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Kendrick's record is now 7-1. As for Brookstone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Coming up, Kendrick is taking a road trip to face off against Hardaway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brookstone, they will be home for the holidays to greet LaGrange Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
