Brainerd has gone a perfect 10-0 against Apollo recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Brainerd and 26 for Apollo dating back to last season.

On Tuesday, Brainerd came up short against Fergus Falls and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Sophia White, who had 16 digs and two assists. Another player making a difference was Preslee Glynn, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Apollo didn't have quite enough to beat Columbia Heights on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Brainerd's record now sits at 3-16. As for Apollo, their record is now 0-19.

Everything went Brainerd's way against Apollo when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as Brainerd made off with a 3-0 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
