Soccer Recap: King's Way Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Toledo last Wednesday, King's Way Christian came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the La Center Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Monday. King's Way Christian were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced La Center earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

King's Way Christian's goal came courtesy of Kellen Palmerton, who's now up to three this season.

King's Way Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-2-2. As for La Center, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4-2.

King's Way Christian didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-0 victory against Onalaska on the 30th. As for La Center, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Stevenson on the 30th.
