Softball Recap: Parkers Prairie Has No Trouble Against Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale

Parkers Prairie won the last time they faced Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 17-4 margin over the Bears. Considering the Panthers have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Parkers Prairie and bumps their season record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Parkers Prairie wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-0 win against Ashby on the 13th. As for Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale, they have also already played their next match, a 17-2 defeat against Swanville on the 14th.
