Russell found their leader in sophomore Kaiden Benge, who rushed for 114 yards and one score. Those 114 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Benge.

Lloyd Memorial's record now sits at 12-0. As for Russell, their record is now 10-2.

Lloyd Memorial and Russell were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but Lloyd Memorial came up empty-handed after a 21-20 loss.
