Basketball Recap: Fredericktown Wins Going Away Against Loudonville

Fredericktown lost to Loudonville back in February, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Fredericktown Freddies came out on top against the Loudonville Redbirds by a score of 47-34. The game marked the Freddies' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Fredericktown's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cally Carpenter, who posted 13 points and four steals. Carpenter is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Mya Bryant was another key player, putting up seven points and nine rebounds.

Fredericktown's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Loudonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fredericktown will welcome Danville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Fredericktown is facing Danville at the right time seeing as Danville is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Loudonville, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Mt. Gilead at 6:00 p.m.
