Football Game Preview: Knight Hawks vs. Lancaster Eagles + How To Watch

The Knight Hawks will square off against the Lancaster Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Knight has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Lancaster will arrive with five straight victories.

Knight is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Quartz Hill on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Hawks took a blow against the Royals, falling 41-12. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 701st, while the Royals are ranked 235th).

Meanwhile, Lancaster never let their opponents score on Friday. They claimed a resounding 54-0 win over Littlerock. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 42 points or more this season.

Lancaster's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Knight, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Knight was taken down by Lancaster 36-0 in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Eagles' Jacob Walker, who rushed for 184 yards and two TDs on only ten carries.
