Soccer Recap: South Sevier vs. Parowan
South Sevier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of the Parowan Rams by a score of 4-3. South Sevier was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Parowan apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August.
Kennedy Salazar and
Savanah Brady scored all three of South Sevier's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.
South Sevier's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Parowan, the victory snapped their losing streak at 11 games and leaves them with a 1-11 record.
South Sevier will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Beaver, where kickoff is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. As for Parowan, they are on the road again on Friday to play Grand County at 4:00 p.m. Grand County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.9 goals per game this season.
