Basketball Recap: Mckean Comes Up Short on the Road Against Woodbridge

McKean kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. The contest between the Highlanders and the Woodbridge Raiders didn't end well, with the Highlanders falling 39-22. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

McKean lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Lauren Moore, who posted seven points along with 12 rebounds and three steals. Jaelynn Edwards was another key player, putting up nine points and seven steals.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. McKean will head out to square off against William Penn at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodbridge, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Indian River at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
