Football Recap: Iota Comes Up Short

Iota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 20-8 to the Marksville Tigers. Having soared to a lofty 41 points in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Iota's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Marksville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Iota will venture away from home to face off against Pine Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Marksville, they will take on Port Barre at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
