Volleyball Recap: Lovejoy Wins Going Away Against Greenville

Lovejoy won the last time they faced Greenville and things went their way on Friday too. The Leopards were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lions. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Leopards.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lovejoy took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-8, 25-9.

Holland Hutchins paced Lovejoy's offense, picking up eight kills. Hutchins got some help from Camryn Penn and her 16 assists. Coco Natarajan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lovejoy's win bumped their record up to 29-12. As for Greenville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 17 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-22 record this season.

Lovejoy will square off against Southlake Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
