Basketball Recap: Hancock Comes Up Short

Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 76-68 to the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Owls of the 58-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Hancock now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Lac qui Parle Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Hancock will welcome Battle Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lac qui Parle Valley, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Lac qui Parle Valley Eagles take on the Central Minnesota Christian Bluejays at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
