B Smith made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Smith has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Smith was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
