Basketball Recap: Edison Academy Takes a Loss

Edison Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 68-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln-King Academy Eagles. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Edison Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Lincoln-King Academy, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-7.

Edison Academy will head out to face off against Harper Woods at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lincoln-King Academy, they will face off against Voyageur Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Voyageur Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
