Baseball Recap: Paxton Comes Up Short

Paxton lost against Cottondale back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bobcats lost 14-2 to the Hornets.

Paxton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Cottondale, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Looking ahead, Paxton is taking a road trip to face off against Poplar Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Atomics have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.58 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Cottondale, they will host Madison County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
