Marblehead barely beat Danvers the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Magicians' defense stepped up to hand the Falcons a 9-0 shutout on Wednesday. Considering Marblehead have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Marblehead has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those six matches. As for Danvers, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6-2.

Looking ahead, Marblehead will be playing at home against West Springfield at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Danvers, they will head out on the road to face off against Salem at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
