West Anchorage's leading receiver did his thing again on Friday. David Sanders turned in his biggest game of the season, picking up 122 receiving yards and one touchdown. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards.

Looking ahead, Sanders and West Anchorage will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Juneau-Douglas at 2:00 p.m. Sadly, Sanders' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Eagles' five-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Sanders and the Eagles surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Saturday's match.
