Volleyball Recap: Surry County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Surry County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Franklin Broncos. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Broncos earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Surry County's record now sits at 5-9. As for Franklin, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 3-9 record.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Surry County is set to take on their familiar foe Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Franklin will challenge rival Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
