Bloom entered their tilt with Lincoln-Way East on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 66-45 margin over the Lincoln-Way East Griffins. The Blazing Trojan have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Joe Jones was Bloom's leading scorer, having posted four points.

Bloom pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points over those games. As for Lincoln-Way East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bloom will face off against Thornton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Bloom is facing Thornton at the right time seeing as Thornton is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Lincoln-Way East, they will square off against Homewood-Flossmoor at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
