Softball Recap: Grafton Bearcats vs. Berkeley Springs Indians

Grafton couldn't quite beat Berkeley Springs on Thursday, but the two-run margin was a huge improvement compared to the eight-run loss they were dealt on Wednesday. The Grafton Bearcats fell just short of the Berkeley Springs Indians by a score of 6-4. Grafton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lillie Crimm spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on five hits and racked up seven Ks.

Grafton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Berkeley Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-18 record this season.
