Volleyball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Shankara Dhamodaran and Chris Lange

It was a proper cat-fight when Triangle Math & Science took on Eno River Academy on Saturday. The Tigers fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

Triangle Math & Science's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Chris Lange, who had 17 assists and ten digs, and Shankara Dhamodaran, who had 12 digs. Lange is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.

Triangle Math & Science moved to 5-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Eno River Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Triangle Math & Science has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Christ the King on the 12th. As for Eno River Academy, they will welcome Orange at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
