Volleyball Recap: James Lick Comes Up Short

James Lick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Live Oak Acorns. The Comets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Acorns from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-10, 25-15.

James Lick's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Live Oak, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. James Lick will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gilroy at 7:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Live Oak, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
