Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jacksonville). They were the clear victor by a 14-4 margin over the Tyler Lions on Saturday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Fightin' Indians as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Tyler, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Jacksonville and Tyler could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Jacksonville is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. Similarly, Tyler (ranked 1025th) will meet Whitehouse (ranked 214th) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
