Softball Recap: Islip Has No Trouble Against Hampton Bays

Islip won the last time they faced Hampton Bays and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Buccaneers blew past the Baymen 11-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Buccaneers.

Islip got a massive performance out of Peighton Mckenna, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits Mckenna has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Cali Addeo, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Islip now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Hampton Bays, they dropped their record down to 2-15 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Islip will square off against rival Sayville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hampton Bays is set to challenge their familiar foe Mount Sinai at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
