Bardstown had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Bethlehem Eagles/Banshees by a score of 5-2 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Eagles/Banshees on Monday, they had to take a 12-8 loss.

Caleb Nalley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Nalley wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Kiser, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another was Breylan Tinnell, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-14-1. As for Bethlehem, they moved to 14-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Bardstown will host Edmonson County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bethlehem, they are taking a road trip to square off against Fort Knox at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
