Basketball Recap: Salem Wildcats vs. Sacred Heart Crusaders

Salem was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 42nd straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 78-36 loss at the hands of the Sacred Heart Crusaders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-27 back in January.

It was another big night for Raider Williams, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 25 points and four steals for Sacred Heart. The contest was Williams' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Gary Duckworth was another key player, putting up 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

Salem's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Sacred Heart, they moved to 10-12 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Salem nor Sacred Heart have any future games scheduled.
