Washington County hasn't had much luck against Bethlehem recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Commanders will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
The home team had come away the winner the last six times Washington County and Danville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Commanders came up short against the Admirals on Monday, falling 14-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Commanders have suffered since March 24th.

Meanwhile, Bethlehem lost 15-5 to Somerset on Sunday.
Bethlehem saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amelia Lamkin, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Malorie Thiel was another, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Washington County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Bethlehem, their loss dropped their record down to 16-11.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Washington County has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .468. However, it's not like Bethlehem struggles in that department as they've averaged .470. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
