Football Game Preview: Miller Falcons vs. Bishop Rosecrans Bishops

The Miller Falcons will challenge the Bishop Rosecrans Bishops at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Miller is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Miller blew Fairfield Christian Academy out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Fairfield Christian Academy got their revenge. The Falcons fell just short of the Knights by a score of 27-25. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 13-7 in the first quarter.

Despite the loss, Miller got top-tier performance from Zander Bice, who rushed for 146 yards and one TD while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Bice is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 113 every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Nick Thompson, who picked up 100 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Bishop Rosecrans played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 63-28 loss at the hands of Caldwell. The Bishops were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 63-14.

Bishop Rosecrans now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Miller, they now also have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything came up roses for Miller against Bishop Rosecrans in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 41-0 victory. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bishops turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
