Carrizo Springs came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 61-46 victory over Young Men's Leadership Academy. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 87-63 win Young Men's Leadership Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2022.

Young Men's Leadership Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Olivarez, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds. The game was Olivarez's 14th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Raishaun Conaway, who posted seven points and six rebounds.
