Baseball Game Preview: Waldport Irish vs. Riddle Irish

Waldport are taking a road trip to square off against Riddle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Waldport has given up an average of 9.8 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Myrtle Point hit Waldport with a six-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Irish came up short against the Bobcats, falling 13-3. The Irish haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Riddle was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They lost 12-1 to Lowell.

Waldport's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Riddle, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
